S. Korean Authorities' Suppression of Sit-in Strike Protested
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions released a statement on Monday denouncing the puppet authorities for forcibly evacuating sit-in strike sites of workers in their action for vital rights, according to south Korean KBS.

The statement expressed resentment at the Central District Office and the Socho District Office in Seoul that hurled on the same day security forces into forcibly evacuating a sit-in strike site for settling the case of Ssangyong Motors and a sit-in strike site of part-time workers of Hyundai Motors.

Such tyrannical action taken on the anniversary of the June 10 resistance is a mockery of the spirit of democratization, it charged.

It accused the authorities of persistently lending no ear to the voices of workers.
