US Can Not Evade Responsibility for Igniting War: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- With no trick can the U.S. imperialists evade all responsibilities for igniting the Korean War, says Rodong Sinmun in a bylined article on Monday.

It says:

The Korean War was one of injustice provoked by the U.S. to invade the young DPRK, and it was a disgraceful war for the U.S. as its myth of "mightiness" was shattered to pieces. So the U.S. and south Korean puppet regime have nothing to commemorate as regards June 25 (the day when the Korean War was unleashed by the U.S. imperialists).

The reason that the provokers of the war hold such an event as "commemoration" of the day every year is to cover up its true colors, and to make the world convince that the DPRK is "a criminal" who provoked the war.

Such an event also aims to push the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the acute phase under the pretext of the "north's threat to invade the south" in order to redress the defeat in the past war at any cost and unleash the second Korean War without fail.

The U.S. installment of "the commemorative things" related to the war will only reveal its history of defeat in the war.

War maniacs would be well advised to draw a lesson from the ends of the U.S. commanders in the war.

If the U.S. war-like forces again unleash a war in Korea, they will meet a fate more miserable than what was met by war maniacs in the past Korean War.
