Delegates to 7th KCU Congress Honored to Be Congratulated by Kim Jong Un
Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- The delegates to the 7th Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) were very happy to see the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un appearing in the hall of the congress held Thursday.

A year ago he made a congratulatory speech at the joint national meeting of the KCU organizations for celebrating its 66th birthday.

With a beaming smile on his face, he acknowledged the enthusiastically cheering delegates and carefully attended to the speeches made by schoolchildren and KCU instructors at the congress.

Upon hearing the speech made by the chairman of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School Committee of the KCU, he called him to his side and highly praised him for his speech.

The congress hall was seized by his intense feelings of affection for schoolchildren.

Pak Song Ryong, a delegate from Kangwon Province, told KCNA:

"I was in tearful bliss at the sudden appearance of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un at the congress.

I will study harder in order to make contribution to building a thriving nation, as desired by Kim Jong Un."

Kim Mok Ran, a delegate from South Hwanghae Province, said:

"I had a photo taken with respected Marshal Kim Jong Un when he was making an inspection tour of the defence attachment on Wolnae Islet in March this year. And today I made a speech at the congress and was honored to receive his hearty applauses.

I could clearly understand that we, children on Wolnae Islet, are always under his deep attention, although the islet is far away from Pyongyang."
