S. Korean Authorities' Policy for Confrontation with DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea released a statement on June 3 denouncing the puppet authorities for their policy for confrontation with the DPRK.

The south-north relations have plunged into a serious deadlock, the statement said.

The danger of war on the Korean Peninsula can never be removed if these relations are left intact, it noted.

The north recently proposed holding the joint national events marking the 13th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration but the south Korean regime refused it, the statement charged.

The south Korean regime has become intent on the north-targeted war drills, pursuant to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK, it held.

It urged the present regime of south Korea to stop at once its policy for confrontation with the north and seek improving the south-north relations.

It also demanded the regime acknowledge and respect all the agreements and promises made between the north and the south including the July 4 joint statement and the June 15 joint declaration and cancel the "May 24 step".
