The 7th Congress of the KCU is to take place in Pyongyang today, the editorial notes, and goes on:

The congress is a culmination of the deep loving care for posterity of the Workers' Party of Korea getting warmer as the days go by.

It is also an event of political significance that will powerfully demonstrate the admirable features and courageous spirit of the KCU members growing up with no more to desire in the world with the blessing of illustrious leaders and the sun generation after generation.

All people in the DPRK send warm congratulations to the historic 7th Congress of the KCU and wish the children bright future, hoping they will bloom under the warm care of the sun.

The KCU has nearly 70 years of history under the wise leadership of the great leaders and party and in this course it has set a fine example of the era in settling the juvenile issue.

In the arduous course of the revolution it has fully displayed the spirit of young Korean revolutionaries, righteous, sturdy and brave.

Now in the DPRK the KCU flags are flying around the flags bearing the immortal beaming images of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The KCU flags are fluttering together with the flags of the Workers' Party of Korea, colors of the Korean People's Army and the flag of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.

The participants in the congress, all the KCU members and the people across the country are hardening their will to glorify the leadership exploits the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu performed for the juvenile movement in Korea as the eternal treasure of the nation.

The 7th congress will help consolidate the revolutionary nature of the KCU as a juvenile organization of the leader and strikingly demonstrate the infinite loyalty of the KCU members, who are determined to uphold the Generalissimos in high esteem just like sunflowers.
