DPRK's Firm Stand against U.S. Nuclear Blackmail Hailed in Brazil
Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted a commentary titled "Nuclear Weapons Are Not Monopoly of U.S." on its website on May 24.

Noting that the world was exposed to a nuclear threat again after the demise of the Cold War, the commentary disclosed the fact that the U.S. ignited wars of aggression in different parts of the world after openly listing those countries it considered as hurdles in carrying out its strategy for dominating the world as "targets of "preemptive nuclear strike".

Underscoring the urgency to hold in check the specified state's nuclear monopoly as required by the new era, the commentary went on:

At present there is a country standing firm against the U.S. nuclear monopoly and blackmail as required by our times.

That is the DPRK, neither a nuclear weapons state nor a big country by origin but a small country in the East.

The DPRK has emerged a full-fledged nuclear weapons state and a satellite launcher which no one dares attack.

Having this tremendous might, the DPRK is offering do-or-die resistance for the defence of its sovereignty.

There has unfolded such an unbelievable reality in which the U.S. is left with no option but to advocate "a strategy for the defense of its mainland" from a nuclear attack though it used to threaten other countries with nukes.

Gone are the days never to return when the U.S. could browbeat the DPRK with nukes.

Nukes are no longer a monopoly of the U.S.
