Folklore Park Built in Haeju City
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The Haeju Folklore Park sprang up in South Hwanghae Province.

Historic relics showing the wisdom and talents of ancestors are truthfully depicted. They include several royal mausoleums such as Mausoleums of King Tangun and King Wang Kon, monument to the Mausoleum of King Kwanggaeto, Chomsongdae Observatory and turtle ship.

There are also the monument to great victory in battle in Yonan Fort and other famous cultural relics in the province.

The entrance and fence of the park were built in such a way as to retain the former shapes of the south gate and castle wall of Haeju Fort, historic relics.

There are trees of various species such as bamboos and ginkgo trees inside the park.

There are also a vast ground for visitors and outdoor stage.

The park will contribute to educating people and school youth and children in the province in socialist patriotism.
