Lao News Agency Introduces Pyongyang Folklore Park
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The Lao News Agency on May 15 introduced the Pyongyang Folklore Park splendidly built as a grand edifice in the era of Songun.

Exhibits there include cultural wealth and relics left by the Korean people in different historical periods as well as creations in modern era in real size or miniature, the news agency said, and went on:

The Korean nation has a time-honored history spanning five thousand years, brilliant culture and beautiful and peculiar tradition and custom.

In the historic relics exhibition area one can see the remains and relics dating back to the primitive ages, ancient times and middle ages, all in one place.

In the folklore village area visitors can see different types of structures built on the principle of historical realism.

Those who enter the contemporary times area can get a view of Mt. Paektu, holy mountain of Korea.

The news agency, reporting about the miniatures of the grand edifices built by the Korean people under the wise leadership of the illustrious great men born of Mt. Paektu in the contemporary times area, said the folklore park is a stark reminder of the long and shining history of the Korean nation.
