Lecture on Situation on Korean Peninsula Given in Czech Republic
Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- A lecture on the situation on the Korean Peninsula was given in Mlada Boleslav County, the Czech Republic on May 9.

Present there were officials of the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia and the Czech, Moravian, Silesian Trade Unions' Association and masses.

Introduced at the lecture were unreasonableness and danger of the U.S. hostile policy and nuclear threat to the DPRK which are the root cause of the tension on the peninsula, and the just stand and resolute measures for self-defense taken by the DPRK to cope with them.

The chairman of the C.C., the Association said the lecture offered him an opportunity to clearly know who is to blame at the escalating tension on the peninsula.

The chairman of the Mlada Boleslav County Committee of the Communist Party said the DPRK could firmly safeguard socialism as they had achieved unity and cohesion of the leader, the party and the masses and bolstered military capacity.

The Korean people will surely emerge victorious in the efforts to build socialism and protect the country's sovereignty under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, he added.
