S. Korean Chief Executive's Apology Dismissed as Deceptive
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Kyunghyang Daily News in an article on May 13 decried the apology made by the present chief executive of south Korea.

The chief executive at a meeting of senior secretaries of Chongwadae made an apology for the sexual scandal in which the spokesman for Chongwadae was involved during her recent trip to the U.S., the article recalled, adding:

Big problem is that it fell short of the expectation of south Koreans and there was no self-communion.

The scandal was supposed since the controversial appointment of Yun Chang Jung as spokesman for Chongwadae.

The chief executive, therefore, should have admitted it first and apologized for it not at an internal meeting of Chongwadae but in a statement for the people or at a formal press conference.

The article blamed Chongwadae for getting engaged in heated-up debate on the responsibility for the scandal.

It urged the "government" to take practical measures after admitting the existence of the problem in itself.
