Overseas Korean Calls for Probing Truth behind Fraud-marred Election
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- An organization of overseas compatriots presented a document to the U.N. on May 14. It was formed to probe the truth behind the conservatives' irregularities in the south Korean "presidential" election.

The organization said the 18th-term "presidential" election in south Korea was an illegal and fraud-tainted election as the Intelligence Service took an active hand in an organized way by dint of power and the central election administration committee reneged on the promise to maintain political neutrality.

South Korean society connived at the despicable crime aimed to misguide the people's psychology with the use of the intelligence organ. Therefore, it has become impossible to probe the truth behind the fraud-tainted election, it noted.

The organization issued several statements through south Korean and overseas Koreans' media in order to bring the public to the knowledge of the unjust nature of the election and the truth about illegal actions committed by power organs including the Intelligence Service. It also conducted activities to probe the truth. Overseas Koreans residing in different parts of the world positively joined in the action, it noted, adding:

The irregularities in the election are attributable to the regime, which took control of all organs including media by posting its close confidants to the seats of power.

The organization called on the U.N. to properly understand it and come out to probe the truth.
