On display there were more than 2 600 medical appliances, instruments and materials of 270 varieties contrived and manufactured by factories, enterprises, scientific and educational institutions.

Highly appreciated among them were appliances more effective in treatment than the previous ones including the electrocardiograph, electroencephalograph and pacemaker presented by factories and enterprises under commissions, ministries and national institutions and units specializing in the production of medical appliances.

Also exhibited there were stitching fiber, dental press and other treatment appliances, hi-tech medical instruments and medical consumables presented by the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, the Kusong Machine Tool Factory, the Pyongyang Electronic Medical Appliances Factory and the Hamhung Metal Medical Appliances Factory.

Various exhibits including medical centrifuge, hand-held automatic insulin infuser drew interest of the participants.

A closing ceremony was held on Friday.
