DPRK's Just Stand Favored by Russian Paper
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- The Russian newspaper Tribuna carried a commentary written by Mikhail Morozov, former correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda to the DPRK, with a photo of the dear respected Kim Jong Un inspecting a unit of the Korean People's Army.

Reptile media are misrepresenting the situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula, the author said, and went on:

The DPRK proposed denuclearizing the peninsula several times before its access to nuclear weapons but the proposal has not yet been implemented and the acute situation has remained there due to the U.S.

Through the talks on the nuclear issue and the work with the International Atomic Energy Agency the DPRK was convinced that one should rely on one's own efforts, not believing in others, and it is doing so.

Rejecting the misinformation spread by Western media, the author said:

The Korean people have never invaded any country in the world. They have not obstructed any others, while living as required by the Juche idea.

What the U.S needs is to make others obedient to it. If a country tries to pursue independent politics, defend its sovereignty and have dialogue with the U.S. on an equal footing, the country will be branded as a rogue state or invaded.

The DPRK has its own experience.

It has long conducted talks on the nuclear issue. The U.S., however, was so base as to deceive the DPRK and suspend the talks.

The U.S. should admit that the DPRK is not an easy rival at the talks.

The DPRK will attend the talks only when its sovereignty is respected and equality ensured.
