Remains of Pak Hui Dok Buried in Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The remains of Pak Hui Dok were laid in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery. He was adviser to the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and twice Labor Hero.

Pak devoted himself to the development of the movement of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and the prosperity of the homeland till the last moments of his life from the early days of Chongryon, true to the idea and leadership of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made sure that he would always be remembered.

A burial ceremony took place at the cemetery on Friday.

Present there were Kim Yang Gon, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Jin Guk, director of the Bureau of Service for Overseas Compatriots, and officials of institutions related to overseas Koreans.

Also present there were Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan staying in the socialist homeland and the family of the deceased.

Kim Yong Dae made a funeral address.

Pak's remains were buried in the cemetery amid the playing of the funeral music.

Senior party and state officials and the family covered his grave with earth.

A wreath sent by Kim Jong Un was laid before his grave.

Placed before it were wreaths in the name of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan and institutions related to overseas Koreans.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of Pak.
