S. Korean Authorities to Blame for Crisis in KIZ: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime is persistently pulling up the DPRK over the responsibility for the crisis in the Kaesong Industrial Zone (KIZ) now in the danger of its closure.

A spokesman for the puppet Ministry of Unification in a press conference on April 22 urged the north to remain true to the inter-Korean agreement, blustering that damages to the businesses of the south side are increasing due to the measure taken by the north to restrict the entry.

The chief of Chongwadae in a recent meeting of senior secretaries said that the DPRK is to blame for the crisis in the KIZ.

This is a crafty ploy to cover up their criminal act of having derailed the inter-Korean economic cooperation.

The KIZ is a precious product of the June 15 joint declaration as it was built after the DPRK granted a privilege to Jong Ju Yong, honorary chairman of Hyundai Group of south Korea, valuing his patriotic will for reunification.

The DPRK offered the militarily sensitive area to the south side for its business activities as the former earnestly hoped to see the KIZ serve as a foundation for national reconciliation, unity and reunification.

That is why the DPRK made every sincere effort to keep the operations in the KIZ afloat at any cost even when traitor Lee Myung Bak severed all inter-Korean relations through escalated confrontation with fellow countrymen in the north after coming to power.

Under such tense situation that a war may break out any moment the KIZ has miraculously stood. This would be unthinkable without the DPRK's self-sacrificing efforts for the interests common to the nation and peace and prosperity.

However, the south Korean confrontation maniacs desperately disturbed normal operations in the KIZ and its development, describing it as a "money source" of the DPRK.

They even planted tricksters and spies among south side's business persons and workers entering the KIZ in a base bid to bring down the social system of the DPRK.

Intolerable was the fact that the south Korean warmongers revealed their attempt to hurl aggression forces into the KIZ under the pretext of "hostage rescue" operation.

All facts go to prove that the puppet forces are working hard to turn the sacred KIZ into a theatre of confrontation and source of a war against the north, not a zone for reconciliation and unity.

It was quite natural for the DPRK to have taken resolute countermeasures in this regard.

The puppet regime is getting frantic in its moves to have the KIZ closed by withdrawing all south side's personnel from it. It is now busy passing the buck for this crisis to the north, a behavior reminiscent of a thief crying "Stop the thief!"

With no rhetoric can the south Korean regime evade the responsibility for this crisis.
