Signature Campaign Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea conducted a signature campaign outside the Posin Pavilion on April 27 in demand of the settlement of the issue related to sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The council demanded the Japanese government make an official apology to victims to sexual slavery and make legal reparation for them. More than 360,000 persons have so far participated in the signature campaign which started in March.

The council will continue the signature campaign till signatories reach 100 million, it said, adding it would make international human rights bodies and world civic and public circles convince through the signature campaign that the settlement of the issue related to sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is the common task of mankind.
