Birthday Spread Sent to Pro-reunification Patriot
Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Han Jang Ho, pro-reunification patriotic fighter, greeted his 90th birthday.

He was born to a poor family in Hwadae County, North Hamgyong Province and was subject to a slave like life of a colony. He keenly felt the stateless grief and after the liberation of Korea he ardently yearned for the northern half of Korea, working as a teacher in south Korea.

After he was arrested by the enemy in the struggle for national reunification, he firmly adhered to the revolutionary faith and obligation for 39 years, weathering bestial torture and appeasement and deception of the hangmen.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il made sure that he and other former unconverted long-term prisoners were brought to the care of the DPRK and put forward them as pro-reunification patriot fighters, DPRK heroes and recipients of the National Reunification Prize.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un saw to it that Han Jang Ho participated in the celebrations of the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the 59th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as delegate.

The birthday spread sent by Kim Jong Un was conveyed to Han Jang Ho on Wednesday.
