Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games Close

| Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games closed with due ceremony at Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street on Tuesday. The games were opened on April 2 to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The April 25 Sports Team came first in women's football event, men and women's basketball and volleyball, men's first class group table-tennis and men and women's first class boxing. The Rimyongsu Sports Team placed first in men's football, women's handball and women's first class group table tennis. Men players of the Ryongnamsan Sports Team (Group A) proved successful in the handball games while players of the Moranbong Sports Team in Pyongyang in the softball games. Men players of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau Sports Team and women players of the Sports Team of Kanggye University of Education No. 1 came first in the ice hockey games. |
