Meeting to Convey Message of Thanks Sent by Kim Jong Un Held
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- A meeting to convey a message of thanks sent by the dear respected Kim Jong Un to officials and other people and service personnel of the Korean People's Army who made every sincere effort to splendidly spruce up the plaza park of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun took place at the plaza on Tuesday.

With the approach of the Day of the Sun (the birth anniversary of the President), the plaza turned into a huge flower garden symbolic of immortality of the leaders thanks to the strong sense of obligation and loyalty of the army and people of the DPRK to eternally hold President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il in high esteem

Officials of the Cabinet, commissions, ministries and national institutions, Pyongyang City and provincial people's committees and other people and servicepersons did such huge work as laying ground for the park, building facilities and planting turf, flowers and trees at the best level in a short span of time.

Present at the meeting were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials, officials of the party and armed forces organs, Cabinet, commissions, ministries and national institutions, officials of party and power bodies in provinces, service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and people in different parts of the country.

The message of thanks sent by Kim Jong Un was conveyed by Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly who is also member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Then speeches were made.

The speakers renewed their determination to display gem-like loyalty to the work for devotedly defending the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and sprucing it up more beautifully, bearing in mind the honor and trust reposed by Kim Jong Un in them.
