Kim Jong Un Watches Men's Soccer Finals of Sports Games
Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- There took place a final match of men's premier soccer teams at Kim Il Sung Stadium Monday as part of the Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games. It was played by the Rimyongsu Team and the Amnokgang Team.

The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un appeared in the tribune of honor together with Ri Sol Ju.

Among the spectators were Choe Ryong Hae, Jang Song Thaek, Hyon Yong Chol, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Yang Gon, Kim Yong Il, Kim Phyong Hae, Kwak Pom Gi, Mun Kyong Dok, Ju Kyu Chang, Choe Pu Il and Kim Tong Il, and members of the State Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission, officials of the party and armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions, those in the sports field, sportspersons, fans and Pyongyangites.

The two teams advanced into the finals after proving successful at the men's premier soccer league matches. They played good games, displaying high technique they have cultivated in day-to-day trainings.

The Rimyongsu Team took the initiative from the beginning according to its tactics and made hot attacks.

In the first half the players of the Rimyongsu Team enjoyed 2:0 lead through nice heading and shooting.

In the second half the Amnokgang Team players succeeded in scoring a goal through skillful passes and hot attack.

The game ended 2:1 for the Rimyongsu Team.

Kim Jong Un congratulated the footballers of both teams on playing a good match, expressing great satisfaction with their high technique.

On the same day he met with players who won gold medals at the recent international games including Kim Kum Ok, Yang Kyong Il, Ri Se Gwang, Hwang Ryong Hak, Pak Yong Mi, Hong Kuk Hyon, Ri Su Yon, Kwon Yong Gwang and Pak Jong Ju, a coach and physical culture and sports guidance officials.

On hand were Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae, Jang Song Thaek, Hyon Yong Chol, Kim Kyok Sik, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Yang Gon, Kim Yong Il, Kim Phyong Hae, Kwak Pom Gi, Mun Kyong Dok and Choe Pu Il, and members of the State Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission.

Shaking hands of the players, coach and physical culture and sports guidance officials one by one, he highly praised them for proving successful at the recent international games and instilling the conviction of victory and optimism into the service personnel and people of the DPRK dynamically pushing forward the building of a thriving socialist nation despite harsh sanctions and strong pressure of the enemies.

He expressed his belief that sports persons and coaches would undergo more intensive trainings to consolidate the successes achieved and fully demonstrate the honor of the country with gold medals at international games.
