Japanese Party Demands Halt to US-S. Korea War Drills
Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The Society for Korean Peninsula Studies of the New Socialist Party of Japan on April 2 issued a statement in protest against the U.S.-south Korea joint war drills.

The statement said a touch-and-go situation was prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the moves of the U.S. and south Korea for aggression against the DPRK, accusing the U.S. of introducing even strategic nuclear bombers into the war drills and the south Korean puppet troops of openly perpetrating such provocations as hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

Under such extremely tense situation the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army and the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued statements demanding the U.S. and south Korea immediately halt their reckless nuclear war drills, it added.

This situation is entirely attributable to the moves of the U.S. and its followers to stifle the DPRK and the double standards of the UN, the statement noted, strongly demanding the U.S. and south Korea immediately halt their nuclear war racket and military actions against the DPRK.
