S. Korean Court Admits Villains' Killings of Civilians during Korean War
Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Seoul Central District Court admitted the mass killings of civilians committed by Villains in Ryoju, Kyonggi Province during the past Korean war, south Korean KBS reported on April 22.

It was reported that south Korean puppet troops and police shot to death a group of residents in Ryoju County on the mere reason that they helped the Korean People's Army or were their family members in September 1950.

The south Korean Committee for Settling the Past History for Truth and Reconciliation investigated the case in 2009 and made public the results of its inquiry that more than 90 persons were killed in those days.

The "government" cannot evade the responsibility for the massacre of civilians in Ryoju by use of power, the court held that reparation should be made for the bereaved families.
