Wreaths Laid before Kang Pan Sok's Statue, Grave
Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the statue of Kang Pan Sok, an indomitable revolutionary fighter and outstanding leader of the women's movement in Korea, in Chilgol Revolutionary Site and her grave in Mangyongdae on Sunday, her 121st birth anniversary.

Seen standing before the statue and grave were wreaths sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok and Kim Yong Chun and other senior officials, the chairman of a friendly party, and officials of party and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, those in the field of education, service personnel and Pyongyangites.

Laid before the statue and grave were wreaths in the name of the C.C., the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

Also placed there were wreaths in the name of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, military academies, educational institutions, revolutionary schools and party and power organs, farms, etc. in Pyongyang.

The participants paid silent tribute to her, recollecting her noble life and feats for bringing up President Kim Il Sung to be the sun of the nation and dedicating herself to the liberation of the country and people's freedom and happiness.
