Ju Yong Il, chairman of the "Old Men" Association for Korean Cultural Tradition in Uzbekistan, said in his speech the Day of the Sun, Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, is the most significant holiday deeply cherished in the hearts of progressive mankind and overseas Koreans.

The august name of Kim Il Sung will always be remembered by mankind for his feats performed for the country and its people, the era and revolution and his noble virtues, Ju noted.

He expressed belief that the DPRK is sure to win and the future of the Korean nation is rosy thanks to the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is identical to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He called upon overseas Koreans to join the compatriots in the homeland in the struggle for national reunification.

The United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan held a similar event at the Korean Centre in Bishkek on Monday.

Pak Kyong Ho, chairman of the confederation, in his speech praised Kim Il Sung as the great man of the century produced by the Korean nation. He went on:

The revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un. I am convinced of victory and future thanks to him.

Overseas Koreans will more dynamically struggle for the reunification of the country and the prosperity of the nation.
