The company officials made a decision to present a gift to Kim Il Sung on the occasion of his 90th birth anniversary, out of profound reverence for him.

The gift was made with a gem stone dug out of the ground 100 meters deep in an area of China.

The waves depicted in the lower part of the gift represent the Korean people's history marked by miseries, while the ivory and elephant under a palm tree symbolize the happy life enjoyed by the Korean people in the era of prosperity provided by Kim Il Sung.
