Present there were Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong and other officials of the association, Koreans in China, the consul general and staff members of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang, a DPRK delegation on a visit to China and members of the DPRK branches working in the three provinces in Northeast China.

On hand were a deputy section chief of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jilin Provincial People's Government, the director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jilin City People's Government, the vice director of the Jilin City Public Security Bureau, the principal of the school, etc.

The participants laid floral baskets before the statue of Kim Il Sung at the school and made a bow.

A meeting of the association was held to celebrate the 101st birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.

Choe Su Bong in his report praised Kim Il Sung as a legendary hero who defeated two imperialisms in one generation to save and glorify the destiny of the country and the nation.

The reporter called on all Koreans in China to get united around the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in one mind and turn out as one in the drive to glorify the new century of Kim Il Sung's Korea as annuals of prosperity and proud victory.

There took place on the same day a photo and book exhibition on the theme of "Exploits of Comrade Kim Il Sung will be everlasting" and "Comrade Kim Jong Un and Korea today". Then followed an art performance and sports and amusement games.

On April 14, the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China held a meeting at the DPRK embassy in Beijing.

Letters to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.

A meeting of the Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China took place in Shenyang on April 13.
