U.S. Nuclear Threat Can Never Work on DPRK: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- The DPRK will direct bigger efforts to bolstering capability for self-defence now that the U.S. is resorting to nuclear war maneuvers, ceaselessly introducing huge nuclear strike means into the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a bylined article.

The situation on the peninsula is getting tenser due to the U.S. frantic nuclear war maneuvers, the article notes, and goes on:

In order to cover up its aggressive nature, the U.S. is urging the DPRK not to provoke and blustering that the DPRK's "option" would entail horrible consequences.

The U.S. can never evade the blame for the touch-and-go situation but will keenly realize the will of the army and people of the DPRK to take revenge upon it.

An all-out war to be staged in the ground, seas and air will be a merciless war in which everything of the enemies would be reduced to ashes at one go, leaving no one to sign a paper of surrender.

The DPRK codified its access to nuclear weapons in order to put an end to the era when the U.S. could threaten the DPRK with nukes, build a country where all people enjoy wealth and glory under socialism and contribute to the peace and stability in Northeast Asia and the cause of global independence.

The U.S. would be well advised to give up its scenario to force the DPRK to dismantle its nukes.
