Officials and other people, members of the women's union and youth and students in Sinuiju, Kanggye, Wonsan and Kaesong cities presented grand choruses in high praise of the undying exploits the great men performed by devoting themselves to turning the country into a socialist fairyland good to live and work.

Institutions at all levels in Pyongyang and local areas spent a pleasant day, playing sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and table-tennis.

Public catering establishments across the country including Thongil Restaurant, Kyongam Restaurant, Kanggye Chicken Entrails Soup Restaurant, Taehung Noodle-house served people with diverse food.

The seats of provinces, cities and counties were beautifully decorated with peculiar lighting on the holiday evening.
