Venues of the performances were crowded with people from all walks of life and youth and students.

The art squad of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League gave a performance at the plaza of the Party Founding Memorial Tower.

In small chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", song and mass dance "Our Great Holiday" and other numbers the performers vividly represented the fact that the new spring of independence comes and a new era of prosperity is open thanks to the April holiday when the sun of Juche rose.

At the plaza of the Pyongyang Grand Theatre and the plaza of the Arch of Triumph the Phibada opera troupe, the art squad of the Central Committee of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea and the central art squad for agitation for increased production put on the stage chorus "Mine Is Always the Country of Kim Il Sung", male solo "Smile of Love", female sole "Soldiers Live Near the General" and other numbers.

At the plaza of the Central Youth Hall and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium the artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe and members of the art group of the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory put on the stage chorus "We Are the Happiest in the World", small chorus "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun" and other numbers.

A performance was also given by the art squad of the Ministry of Railways at the plaza of Pyongyang Railway Station. Put on the stage were colorful numbers instilling into the audience conviction of hopeful future.
