Youth and students full of joy and emotion in greeting the Day of the Sun, the greatest auspicious holiday of the nation, gathered at the dancing venues in the city including the plazas of the April 25 House of Culture, the Party Founding Memorial Tower and the Arch of Triumph.

Dancing parties began as songs "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun" and "Song of Mangyongdae" blared.

The dancers presented seas of dances in profound reverence for Kim Il Sung who devoted his whole life to the prosperity of the country and the people's happiness.

To the tune of songs "Mine Is Always the Country of Kim Il Sung" and "My Country Is Best" they danced full of joy, recollecting with deep emotion the brilliant feats of Kim Il Sung who built the socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence on this land and led the people to the road of victory and glory.

Songs "At One Go" and "Push Back Frontiers of Latest Science and Technology" reflecting the will of the Songun young vanguard members resolved to give full play to the youthful wisdom and valor in the all-out action with the U.S. and in building an economic power resounded through the dancing venues, adding to the atmosphere.

Melodies of "Glory to Our Great Party" refreshed the revolutionary enthusiasm of the dancers to glorify the undying revolutionary feats of Kim Il Sung and remain loyal to the party's leadership.

Similar dancing parties were held in the seat of provinces, cities and counties on the same day.
