Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in South Africa

| Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- A South African preparatory committee was inaugurated in Mfumalanga Province on Apr. 6 to celebrate the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun). Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party who doubles as chairman of the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including lecture and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
