US Hostile Policy toward DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Thai organizations issued statements on Mar. 28 in protest against the U.S. which prodded the United Nations Security Council into adopting "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK.

The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association said:

The UNSC cooked up the above-said "resolutions" against the DPRK over its satellite launch and third underground nuclear test.

The main purpose of the "resolutions" is to completely disarm the DPRK, strangle it economically and thus bring down its socialist system.

The "resolutions" are a product of the U.S. vicious hostile policy toward the DPRK. The U.S. and its followers should immediately stop their acts of deteriorating the situation and make efforts for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

We positively support the heroic Korean people steadily advancing along the road of independence chosen by themselves.

The Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand said:

The satellite launched by the DPRK will greatly contribute to the development of its science and technology as it is an application one.

The satellite launch for the peaceful use of outer space is a legitimate right of a sovereign state as it is recognized by everybody.

The U.S. has remained unchanged in its hostile policy toward the DPRK and, moreover, it has staged military exercises simulating an adventurous preemptive nuclear strike in south Korea, pushing the regional situation to an extreme phase.

The U.S. and its followers should halt their reckless provocations and all countries concerned should pool their efforts to ensure peace on the peninsula.

We are sure that the Korean people will firmly protect the sovereignty of the country and the nation in the future, too.
