Day of Sun Observed by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups between March 29 and April 1 to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun).

The Cambodian paper Kmae Amata devoted its one whole page to a special write-up under the caption "A great man of century, On the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung".

The paper introduced in detail that progressive humankind is revering the President as a great man of the century.

The Myanmar Herald allotted its one whole page to an article illustrated with a photo of the statues of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

The paper said in its article titled "The President's whole life characterized by his maxim of believing in people as in Heaven":

Kim Il Sung regarded it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven during his lifetime.

All democratic reforms carried out right after the liberation of Korea reflected his noble intention to put forward the people as masters of the country and society.

He regarded the people as his teachers and almighty beings.

He always found himself among them to pay attention to their voices and reflect their aspiration and desire in policies.

L'Avenir, the paper of Democratic Congo, featured articles under the banner-line title "Kim Il Sung, eternal leader of the DPRK". It carried a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

The Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times in its article "President Kim Il Sung who provided military guarantee for accomplishing the cause of independence" introduced the immortal exploits he performed by developing the Korean People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army.
