US, S. Korea Urged to Pay Heed to DPRK's Warnings
Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- The European Regional Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany issued a joint statement on March 28 denouncing the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces for their moves for a war against the DPRK.

A touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the Foal Eagle joint military exercises being staged against the DPRK under the pretext of "annual ones", the statement said.

It is beyond any doubt that if a war breaks out in Korea again, it will lead to a nuclear war, the first of its kind in the history of world wars, it held, adding:

The U.S. nuclear submarines are being involved in the war drills and its nuclear strategic bombers fly into the sky above south Korea one after another to stage drills for firepower strike under the simulated conditions of a real war. This proves the danger of the nuclear war maneuvers.

No matter what rhetoric the U.S. and south Korean puppet group may use to justify the on-going war maneuvers, it can never conceal their aggressive and bellicose nature.

The south Korean bellicose military forces are talking about "the U.S. nuclear umbrella" though the country is exposed to the danger of nuclear disasters, the statement said, and went on:

On behalf of all fellow countrymen desirous of peace against war we sternly condemn the warmongers for frantically staging the north-targeted war maneuvers, unaware of their death.

The U.S. and south Korean authorities should stop at once the north-targeted war maneuvers which will bring a nuclear disaster to the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. is to blame for the danger of a nuclear war on the peninsula.

The urgent way of preventing a nuclear war is to put an immediate stop to the joint military exercises.

The only way of fundamentally settling the situation is for the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The key to peace lies in the conclusion of a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S.

The U.S. and south Korean authorities should pay heed to the warnings of the DPRK.
