Japanese Authorities' Reckless Remarks against DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- As regards the new strategic line recently laid down by the Workers' Party of Korea, the chief Cabinet secretary of Japan let loose a spate of nonsense at a press conference that "north Korea continues making provocative remarks and actions and it is very regretful." Japanese Prime Minister Abe uttered that what is important is for the international community to keep enforcing the "UN resolutions" against it, remaining unfazed by "north Korea's provocative remarks." The Japanese defence minister talked the same jargon, grumbling that it was something unprecedented that the north Korean army specified geographical names of Japan as targets of its strike.

Rodong Sinmun on Monday obverses in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The Japanese authorities are talking this or that in a bid to shift the responsibility for the escalating tension on the Korean Peninsula on to the DPRK. This is nothing but a base ploy to protect their U.S. master.

The Japanese reactionaries must know well that the U.S. is the arch criminal escalating the tension on the peninsula but they are making far-fetched assertions, blinded by their hostility toward the DPRK. This is a nasty behavior.

Had the Japanese authorities not been freed from the nightmare of nuclear disaster in the past, they should have taken the lead in protesting against the U.S. moves for a nuclear war. The Japanese reactionaries, however, seem pleased with the U.S. desperate efforts to ignite a nuclear war in Korea while persistently following a hostile policy toward the DPRK.

We once again warn Japan against blindly toeing the U.S. policy. It will have to pay a dear price for its imprudent behavior.
