US Urged Not to Meddle in Issue of Korean Peninsula
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Bulgaria and Austria made public statements on Mar. 31 and Apr. 2 in denunciation of the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to unleash a nuclear war.

The Communist Unity Movement of Bulgaria said:

The situation on the Korean Peninsula has been increasingly deteriorated due to the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean regime to ignite a war against the DPRK.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are now waging joint military drills by mobilizing a large number of troops and war hardware.

Such acts are posing big danger to the global peace.

The U.S. should implement the resolution adopted at the 30th UN General Assembly session in 1975 which called for not meddling in the internal affairs of Korea.

We call on all progressive political parties and public organizations of the world to strongly condemn the U.S. for its moves for aggression against the DPRK and extend solidarity to the Korean people standing up against outside forces.

The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna said:

We accuse the U.S. of staging war drills on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. has reinforced its aggression forces, instead of making efforts for the detente on the peninsula.

South Korea is actively joining the U.S. in its war maneuvers.

Just like other countries, the DPRK has its obligation and right to defend its people's sovereignty and territory.

We demand the U.S. halt its moves to stifle the DPRK, not threatening the peace on the Korean Peninsula.
