Day of Sun to Be Commemorated in Cambodia

| Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- A Cambodian preparatory committee was inaugurated on April 1 to celebrate the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun). Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace, was elected chairman of the committee at the instructions of Norodom Sihamoni, king of Cambodia. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events from April 1 to 20 to widely introduce the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Cambodia which were provided by the President. |
