DPRK Has Legitimate Right to Develop Nukes: Expert
Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The Russian internet news agency Baltinfor on March 29 carried an article titled "DPRK has legitimate right to develop nuclear weapons" authored by writer and military historian Sergey Pereslegin.

The author said that a touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the ever-mounting moves of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces to ignite a nuclear war.

He went on:

The DPRK is not a member nation of NPT. So, it has the legitimate right to develop nuclear weapons. It is developing means for delivering nuclear weapons by itself. It is also the right to do so.

The West is applying sanctions against the DPRK, far from taking neutral approach to such understandable actions.

In fact, all sanctions have already been slapped on the DPRK, entailing absurd results.

As an example, all sanctions have been oriented to banning the DPRK from manufacturing nuclear weapons but it has made them despite the sanctions. This has accordingly rendered the sanctions illegitimate.

As a result, the West had better scrap such absurd sanctions.
