U.S., S. Korean War Moves Condemned by Nepali Organizations.
Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- Nepali organizations denounced the provocative joint military exercises of the U.S. and south Korea. They included the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee, Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea, Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea, Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, National Press Club, Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, Study Forum for Self-Reliance, International Committee for the Study of Songun Politics for Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics.

The organizations in a joint statement on March 28 said:

The organizations of Nepal loving justice and peace and working hard to develop the friendly relations with the Korean people express deep concern over the touch-and-go situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula.

If the U.S. truly wants peace on the peninsula, it will have to stop at once the provocative joint military exercises.

If the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces do not stop the provocation against the DPRK, the situation on the peninsula will lead to an unpredictable phase.

There is a limit to the DPRK's patience.

We strongly demand the U.S. and south Korean authorities stop at once the war maneuvers on the Korean Peninsula, discontinue the hostile moves against the DPRK and replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty.

We call upon progressive people and all countries concerned to work hard to ensure durable peace on the peninsula.
