Patriotic Struggle against U.S. High-Handed, Arbitrary Practices Called for by Religious Body
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The Religious Believers Council of Korea said in a statement issued on Tuesday:

The council fully supports the important decision made by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the supreme incarnation of love and trust, in connection with the fact that the U.S. imperialists' aggressive moves to violate the DPRK's sovereignty and the dignity of the supreme leadership of the country have reached an extreme phase.

The council calls on all the compatriots at home and abroad to turn out in the sacred patriotic struggle against the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the U.S. imperialists, the chieftain of evils, in order to protect peace and justice, reflecting the will of the believers of the DPRK who hold justice and truth dearer than their own lives.

Those who are fond of playing with fire are bound to perish in the flames and those evils are bound to meet a punishment by Heaven.

The U.S. and the south Korean military gangsters seeking to inflict a nuclear holocaust upon the peace-loving humankind are bound to perish in the boiling cauldron as they are the most barbarous Satans in the world.

The U.S. nuclear blackmail should be countered with a merciless nuclear attack, its war of aggression with a great war of justice for national reunification. This is a strong message of the DPRK and represents the unanimous view of our religionists.

Now is the time for all the religionists who truly wish for peace and justice to devote their heart and soul to the practical action against the hateful peace wreckers and war provocateurs, not merely concerning and worrying about the destiny of the nation like a public-spirited man.

They should drive the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces, the root cause of all sorts of misfortune and pain, out of this land, keenly aware that genuine religion for love and peace and embodiment of justice lie in protecting national dignity and sovereignty.

The Religious Believers Council of Korea is firmly convinced that the peace-loving religious organizations and religionists in south Korea who love a bright future of the nation and peace will turn out in the patriotic sacred struggle to protect justice, keenly aware of their mission.
