The statement said that the reckless scenario of the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers to unleash a nuclear war against the DPRK has reached the phase of its implementation after going beyond the danger line despite its repeated warnings and the unanimous protest at home and abroad.

It slammed the U.S. and the south Korean bellicose forces for resorting to a hideous move to do harm to the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, in particular.

The Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army issued a statement on Tuesday in which it declared that it would demonstrate its strong will to take counteractions to defend the country's sovereignty through actual military actions, the statement noted, adding:

The Chongryon Central Standing Committee, reflecting the towering indignation of all its officials and Koreans in Japan at the U.S. and the south Korean war-like forces, vehemently condemns them for such crimes against the nation and humanity as trying hard to dare hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and provoke a nuclear war against the homeland dearer than their lives.

The U.S. and the south Korean trigger-happy forces should immediately stop the anti-DPRK dangerous war exercises aimed to bring a nuclear disaster to the Korean nation.

We call upon all Koreans to rise up as one to struggle against the warmongers' nuclear war maneuvers designed to devastate the land of Korea.
