Rodong Sinmun Blasts S. Korean Defence Chief's Reckless Remarks
Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Kwan Jin, minister of Defense of south Korea, in his message sent on the lapse of three years since the Cheonan warship sinking incident on March 26 cried out for making "thoroughgoing preparations" and "strong punishment," vociferating about "unchanged attitude" and " possibility of actual provocation" by the north. Earlier, he appeared on Paekryong Island and blustered before his stooges that they should strike bases and supporting forces on the principle of taking a step first before making a report in case of the north's provocation and strike even commanding forces, supported by a unit commanded by a higher officer.

Meanwhile, Air Chief of Staff Song Il Hwan and Naval Chief of Staff Choe Yun Hui also appeared at units under them and made such bellicose remarks as calling for striking outposts and meting out "a punishment".

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

What Kim Kwan Jin and his stooges uttered are evidently a declaration of a war against the DPRK and a curtain raiser to the operation for a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.

The statement of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army reflected the unbearable resentment of the service personnel and the people of the DPRK at the U.S. imperialists and the puppet group and their will to mete out a merciless punishment to them.

The Paektusan army fully ready to annihilate the enemy through a final decisive battle will teach a good lesson to those who go reckless in their moves to do harm to the DPRK, obsessed with megalomania backed by their master.

Warmongers Kim Kwan Jin, Song Il Hwan and Choe Yun Hui seem to calculate there would be a chance of striking "bases, supporting and commanding forces" but that is no more than a daydream.

The military warmongers are the primary targets of the merciless preemptive strike of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK.

Once the puppet forces dare provoke, that will be a moment for the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to start their powerful counteraction.

The chief of Chongwadae will have to pay a price for letting Kim Kwan Jin stay in office and driving him into the confrontation with the DPRK.
