Rodong Sinmun Calls for Punishing Provocateurs
Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- It is the legitimate right of the DPRK to punish all warmongers crazy in their moves for provocation and war and start a final decisive battle for achieving the country's reunification, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a bylined article.

It goes on:

The service personnel and the people of the DPRK who are stronger in independent faith and regard the dignity dearer than their own lives will never allow their dignity to be infringed upon.

The U.S. utterly indifferent to international law and convention on sovereignty is mobilizing "its three major nuclear strike means" in a bid to invade the DPRK and realize the ambition to dominate it. This is an open nuclear blackmail against it.

Shortly ago, the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea signed a "joint plan to cope with the provocation of a local war" drafted by south Korean military gangsters, giving assurances that should the puppet army commit a military provocation, all the U.S. forces in the mainland and the Pacific would be involved in an all-out nuclear war, using it as a pretext.

The south Korean hooligans, encouraged by the backing of the U.S. master, are kicking up war hysteria, crying out for "a ten-fold punishment." Not content with this, they are making no scruple of hatching a thrice-cursed plot to bring down statues of great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the symbol of the supreme dignity of the DPRK.

Such reckless actions are an intolerable insult to the army and the people of the DPRK who regard the supreme dignity dearer than their own lives.

Gone are days when there was a verbal exchange. Now is the time to finally settle accounts with the aggressors who dare hurt the sovereignty and the supreme dignity of the country and pose a threat to the nation's destiny, and put a definite end to the history of politically-motivated military provocations and tension on this land.
