U.S. High-ranking Officials' Anti-DPRK Rhetoric Blasted
Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The U.S. State secretary, Defense secretary and other high-ranking officials are raving that the DPRK is destroying peace and stability, it took a wrong option and that strong counteractions should be taken. They even said they will never recognize the DPRK as a nuclear weapons state and will never tolerate its possession of nukes.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says the U.S. has so far shelved the danger and gravity of nuclear threats posed by it to the DPRK and made far-fetched assertions as regards the DPRK's nuclear deterrence for coping with those threats.

The racket for nuclear threats kicked up by the arrogant U.S. compelled the DPRK to access nukes, the commentary says, and goes on:

When the DPRK launched with success satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 for the development of science and technology and economy of the country, the U.S. groundlessly branded it as a "long-range missile launch" and instigated the UN Security Council to pass a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK. This clearly proves the hostility of the U.S. to the DPRK. If the U.S. behaved with discretion at that time, the situation would not have reached such a serious phase as now.

The U.S. is now keeping mum about the nuclear threats it posed to the DPRK and is behaving badly only finding fault with the DPRK's access to nukes which was taken to counter the nuclear threats.

Tragedy is that the U.S. still does not know about the DPRK with which it has stood in confrontation for more than half a century.

It could not talk about making correct option if it had fully understood the DPRK. The DPRK regards the U.S. rhetoric as nothing but a bark made by a dog at the moon.

The U.S. should clearly understand that the DPRK has its own option. It is the road of independence and Songun.
