Minju Joson Assails U.S., S Korean Dangerous War Scenario
Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Commander of the south Korea-U.S. combined forces Sherman and Chairman of the south Korean puppet Joint Chiefs of Staff Jong Sung Jo signed a "plan for jointly countering the provocation of a local war " on March 22.

Minju Joson Wednesday in a bylined commentary observes in this regard:

This plan is further increasing the danger of a north-targeted all-out war on the Korean Peninsula.

The keynote of the war scenario is to unconditionally and immediately hurl U.S. forces into a war if the south Korean puppet army requests their help. The U.S. forces having the right to control wartime operations of the puppet army pretended to be "a guardian of peace," rejecting its request or employing a delaying tactics. However, the U.S. signed the above-said war scenario, revealing its true colors as crafty aggressors.

The U.S. seeks to minimize its forces' loss by putting forward the south Korean puppet army as a shock force in a war against the north and thus realize its ambition to invade it.

Its ulterior objective is to intervene under the pretext of "prompt assistance" in a local war to be launched by the puppet forces and go over to an all-out war against the north.

As a matter of fact, the above-said war scenario took effect against the backdrop of the on-going large-scale Foal Eagle military drills against the north. Even at this hour the south Korean puppet forces are busy staging madcap war drills, crying out for "punishment" for the Cheonan warship sinking incident, the hideous farce orchestrated by themselves.

This hints that Foal Eagle may develop into an actual war. The on-going north-targeted war maneuvers of the U.S. and south Korean warmongers have completely deprived the peninsula of a mechanism to deter a war. Their effectuation of this war scenario under the situation is little short of an open declaration of a war against the DPRK.
