U.S., S. Korean Authorities Accused of Threatening Peace on Korean Peninsula
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The Joint Action for Peace against War in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on March 21 at which it denounced the U.S. and south Korean warmongers for threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula.

At the rally the organization said that the U.S. mobilization of nuclear strategic bomber, nuclear submarine, etc. for the joint military exercises now under way is a demonstration of armed forces to ignite a nuclear war on the peninsula.

The U.S. seeks to stifle the north through the "sanctions" racket against it but the past history has proved that it was wrong, it noted, and continued:

Peace can never be achieved as long as the U.S. is reneging on the agreements between the DPRK and the U.S. and is busy pursuing its hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The basic guarantee for defusing the danger of war is for the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to stop the north-targeted military exercises and "sanctions" racket and implement the south-north joint declarations, it held.

It stated it would turn out in the action against war and for independent reunification and the campaign to have a peace treaty concluded in order to achieve lasting peace on this land.
