U.S. Policy to Stifle DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- The Czech newspaper Halo Noviny on Mar. 14 carried a commentary titled "U.S. policy to stifle DPRK".

The commentary written by an American news analyst said that the U.S. always needs enemy and makes enemy, if it has not.

The DPRK is the first target of the U.S., the commentary said, adding that the U.S. policy is to stifle the DPRK.

The Bush administration insulted the DPRK by listing it as a member of the "axis of evil" and the present U.S. administration has carried forward the worst things out of the Bush administration's policy, it noted, adding:

The DPRK is the only country which was slapped with "sanctions" for its satellite launch.

Its satellite launch was legitimate.

The "NPT, threat to peace and security" was cited as the reason of "sanctions" against the DPRK. However, no other country has threatened global peace more than the U.S.

The U.S. pursues the policy of a preemptive nuclear attack and does not care whether the target is a nuclear weapons state or not.

The DPRK was singled out as the first target.

The DPRK counteracts the U.S. pressure with legitimacy.

The U.S. is wholly responsible for the situation. The U.S. does not want peace.

It is the chieftain which introduced nukes into the Korean Peninsula.

The DPRK pulled out of the NPT and had access to nuclear weapons to cope with the U.S. nuclear threat.

During the Korean War the U.S. used extremely monstrous ways and turned Korea into ashes.

The DPRK was convinced that the best way of defending its security from the U.S. aggression is to have nuclear deterrence.

The commentary stressed it will be irresponsible if one fails to defend the security of one's own people.
