Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to widely introduce and disseminate immortal feats of Kim Il Sung and hold colorful events including seminar on the Juche idea and Songun politics, film show and photo exhibition to mark the anniversary.
