The website of the Anti-"Globalization" Movement of Russia said in an article titled "Thunder of DPRK":

The U.S. maneuvered the UN Security Council to pass a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its satellite launch for peaceful purposes.

This is an encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK.

The DPRK had neither need nor plan to conduct the nuclear test.

Its original aim was to focus efforts on economic construction and improvement of people's living standard.

But it was compelled to conduct the nuclear test as the U.S. wantonly encroached upon its right to satellite launch and escalated hostile acts against it.

The recent nuclear test of the DPRK was an eruption of surging resentment at the U.S. hostility and, at the same time, a demonstration of the transparent will to defend its sovereignty to the last and its tremendous capability.

Other website and internet magazines of Russia, an Ukrainian internet paper and the website of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions carried articles proving the validity of the DPRK's measure of bolstering nuclear deterrent.
