U.S. Is to Blame for Danger of Nuclear War on Korean Peninsula: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and its allies are to blame for pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a nuclear war.

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes this in a bylined article.

The U.S. and other hostile forces are running the whole gamut of rhetoric to evade the responsibility for the prevailing grave situation but that will never help justify their war moves, the article says, and goes on:

Not a few countries have launched thousands of satellites but the UN Security Council has never called them into question.

It, however, unreasonably took issue with the satellite launch of the DPRK only. This was a proof that the UNSC was abused. Neither advice nor international law could work on the brigandish U.S. imperialists. There should have been only tougher counteractions against them.

Hence, the DPRK went ahead with its 3rd underground nuclear test in February last.

Looking back on history, the Korean nation has been exposed to the constant nuclear threat of the U.S.

It was because of the U.S. nuclear threat that the DPRK withdrew from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and had access to the nuclear deterrence for self-defence.

It is none other than the U.S. that spawned and hyped the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula and worked desperately to impose the nuclear disaster upon the Korean nation.

The prevailing situation on the Korean Peninsula has put the DPRK at the crossroads: Whether to protect its supreme interests or suffer a nuclear disaster to be imposed upon it by the U.S. and its allies.

It is the principled stance of the DPRK to counter the reckless nuclear war racket with a higher precision nuclear attack means.

Gone are the days when the DPRK could have verbal exchange with the U.S.

The U.S. and its allies had better behave themselves.
